Iskcon Temple of Houston Tour and Lunch

We will kick off the year with a tour and lunch at the Iskcon Temple of Houston, located at 1320 West 34th St. This is an exciting tour to see the temple and learn more about the beliefs and traditions of its members.  The tour will begin at 10:30AM on September 9. If you are planning on carpooling, please be at the clubhouse in time to depart by 10:10AM. There is ample parking behind the Temple with the entrance located on Golf Street. After entering through their back gate and proceed around the Temple and park next to the playground and gardens.  The tour will begin at 10:30am so please plan accordingly.

Please wear your Houston Heights Women’s Club T-shirts!  

After our tour of the Iskcon Temple of Houston, we'll remain on the campus and have lunch at their highly regarded Govinda's Restaurant.  This is a vegetarian restaurant, with mostly traditional Indian food, but other non-Indian options are available as well to suit all palettes. It is buffet style, including drink and dessert options! The cost is $14.99.
