Let's Shake Things Up!

Enjoy a cold margarita or lemonade on a hot summer night as we brainstorm for the future.

After a year of operating as a unified club and with our membership growing, our cherished Arts and Creativity Group is being revamped and renamed.

It will now be known as the Education and Culture Group. Our goal is to continue monthly third-Monday-evening programming that’s possibly educational, usually creative, and definitely fun, and to schedule more outings and weekend activities, too.

This July meeting is a chance for everyone:

• Who has enjoyed the Arts & Creativity Group activities in the past and wants to ensure those popular, hands-on programs continue

• Who loves the arts and exploring new ideas, culture, and unique stories

• Who has a creative hobby, passion or talent to share

• Who has ideas about the type of engaging programming or topics we should offer

• Who simply wants to connect with friends on a Monday night

Your Assignment: Bring Your Ideas!

To make this new chapter a success, we need your input. Please come to the meeting with your ideas about the kind of events, topics, or hands-on programs that interest you. We will talk about activities that have been well-received in the past, and what we want for the future.

A Note on Volunteering: We do need new leadership for this group, so if you’re willing to help organize one or more programs, that’s very welcome. However, the goal for this meeting is strictly to brainstorm and establish priorities, not to require a volunteer commitment.
