You are invited to join us to celebrate Women's History Month and present our local School Librarians with their books.

Refreshments will be served.

At the Houston Heights Woman's Club we believe it is important that our current and future generations of girls have resources for learning about strong and successful women, and that they know the history of how we have obtained the rights we enjoy today. This belief inspired us to create the Women's Studies Library Initiative - a campaign to build a quality women’s studies collection in each of our nine local public school libraries. Through this initiative, Houston Heights Woman’s Club-Heritage Group and Houston Heights Woman’s Club-Evening Group are proud to continue to provide inspiration for young women to grow and achieve their dreams!

All nine of our local Heights Area schools (Reagan High, Hamilton Middle, Hogg Middle, Browning Elementary, Field Elementary, Harvard Elementary, Helms Elementary, Love Elementary, and Travis Elementary) have enthusiastically accepted our invitation to participate in this program again this year.

Please consider a donation to WSLI.
