LAISSEZ LES BON TEMPS ROULEZ!!
The clubhouse embraces Mardi Gras! Please join us in your traditional New Orleans colors of purple, green, and gold, as we learn about the history of Mardi Gras from our very own Jamie Renton, former New Orleans Mardi Gras Queen. We will be treated to a fascinating educational talk delving into the history of the day, starting with Roman times and how it has been celebrated through the centuries. Also on hand will be lots of Mardi Gras couture and regalia, so feel free to wear or bring your own! Fun accoutrements are encouraged to be worn!
Community Outreach: Members are invited to bring Valentine candy which will be used to prepare treat bags to accompany the gorgeous cards we will be creating the following week.
Potluck Luncheon: Lunch will be potluck so please bring your favorite dish. To celebrate the tradition, a King Cake desert direct from New Orleans will be provided.
*Registering early is recommended to reserve your seat as this is a members only event with limited seating.
