Join us in March for member readings and rock painting! 

The meeting will start with 30 minutes allocated for 3 members to share a few pages of personal writing for group feedback to be followed by rock painting.

During Covid member Dena Honeycutt started HH (Houston Heights) Rocks.  We are excited for her to share her story and mission with us.  Dena will bring the supplies we need for painting rocks which we can spread throughout the neighborhood to bring joy & positivity to those who find them. 

Members are invited to join us and expand our network of like-minded members to share ideas, creative resources and events.

About us:

The Writing & Creativity Group meets on the 3rd Monday of each month. We are a group of members who have created a space to appreciate and explore all types of creative expression.  We provide an audience for each other’s creativity. 

Our monthly meetings will be held at the Clubhouse with guest speaker “expert” talks, group projects and feedback on our writer's written work.  Additionally, members take turns planning creative excursions in the community such as classes, art, film, music, theater, museums, cooking and poetry. While several of us are writers, all of us share the desire to pursue and explore all sorts of creative expression.
