Add some local charm to your next event! The historic Houston Heights Woman's Club Clubhouse is available for rent year-round by members, non-profit organizations, school groups, and others. 

It is an ideal setting for your meetings, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, small weddings and receptions, catered dinners, and recitals.

With its large, neutral space, the Clubhouse easily adapts to any décor. The building boasts abundant windows for plenty of natural daylight. For evening events, your guests will enjoy the romantic ambiance from the original Art Deco wall sconces. 

Our self-service approach puts you in charge; we provide the space with tables and chairs, and you choose your own vendors and décor.

Where is the clubhouse?

1846 Harvard, Houston, Texas 77008, in the heart of the Historic Heights neighborhood.

What is the cost to rent the clubhouse?

Effective July 1st, 2023, the base price for rental is $550 for 4 hours (minimum) and is only $50 each additional hour (whole hour increments only). When planning your event, be sure to consider any additional time you will need for set-up before your event's start time, as well as clean-up afterwards. 

What does the rental include?

Clubhouse Rental includes a catering kitchen (for outside food, no cooking on-site), 6 8-top round tables with chairs, a buffet table and various other furnishings. Linen rental is available. Additional table and chairs set-up is $30 per table. Renters are expected to return the space to the condition in which it was found (clean, sweep up, haul away trash, etc.). 
Do HHWC members get a discount?  Contact the Rentals Manager, Dena Honeycutt, at; mobile (281) 433-2863for  inquiries on discounted rentals on weekdays (Monday through Thursday) or for HHWC Members.

Is a deposit required? 

fully-refundable $250 Security Deposit, in addition to Rental Fees, due at signing of the Contract.  

Is there parking? 

There is limited off-street parking behind the clubhouse, but ample street parking in the neighborhood.

What is the size of the Clubhouse?

The room is approximately 1,000 square feet with a stage located at one end. View our Clubhouse Layout. The capacity is 80 people. 

What hours can we have events? 

All events must end by 10:00 pm, per the HHWC's agreement with surrounding neighbors.
